Mission

To advise the Government in the preparation, implementation and control of policies, strategies and actions that contribute to the sustainable development of the national mining sector and strengthen its contribution to the rest of the economy. Also, to protect the interests of the State in its mining companies, supervising and evaluating its management and investments.​
